Invitation For Artist - CALL for artists for 2008 and 2009

The Shenandoah Valley Art Center is asking for artists to submit samples of their work to be
considered for a solo show for the 2008 and 2009 exhibit seasons. If you would like to be an
invited exhibitor for a one month period for the upcoming season, please submit the following
information in August and in January.

.  10 images of recent work, with artist's name, painting's title, size, medium, and top 
clearly marked on slide or included with the CD.

.  1 page summary of your educational history plus awards and exhibits, if any.

.  A short descriptive statement of what your work would include.  
Please state if there are any special requirements needed for installation, if selected 
to exhibit.

.  Please include a stamped self- addressed envelope for return of CD or slides.  
CDs or Slides will not be returned if artist is selected for an exhibit.

  Jury for submitted work will be in early September and February.
  Individuals or groups may submit. 
  All work must be original, including prints.
All submissions will be carefully considered and a reply will be 
sent immediately following the jury process.

CDs with images in jpg format or slides will be accepted.
