Call for Artists — Virginia Street Art Festival Vendor Opportunities
Virginia Street Art Festival (VSAF) returns to downtown Waynesboro, VA, bringing a weekend of live murals, interactive community art, music, and family-friendly activities to the streets of the city. The festival has been transforming downtown into a dynamic outdoor arts destination since 2015 and continues to celebrate creativity, public engagement, and community identity.
We are now accepting applications from professional artists and makers in all media to participate as 10×10 vendor booth exhibitors during this high-energy community event.
Event Overview
What: Virginia Street Art Festival — downtown Waynesboro’s vibrant celebration of murals, street art, music, and community art experiences.
When: May 16 and 17, 2026 10am-5pm Saturday, 12-4pm Sunday
Where: Downtown Waynesboro, VA
Audience: Free and open to the public; thousands of visitors enjoy murals in progress, activities, live music, and artist vendors. Visit Waynesboro
This year, the festival is expanding with community support and recently received a T-Mobile Hometown Grant to grow programming and public art initiatives.

We welcome artists and makers in all media, including (but not limited to):
Fine art
Printmaking
Painting
Jewelry and wearable art
Crafts and mixed media
Photography
Sculpture and 3D work
This opportunity is for artists who are prepared for professional outdoor festival vending with a 10×10 booth setup (tent, display, etc.). Work should be appropriate for outdoor festival sales and display. All tents must be white.
All work should be handmade by you (with the exception of prints, stickers, etc, which should be designed by you).

Booth Size: Standard 10×10 ft vendor booth — artists must provide their own tent, weights, tables, chairs, and display infrastructure. All tents must be white.

Virginia Ross Invitational Gallery
The Virginia Ross Invitational Gallery is the main gallery in the newly renovated 416 W. Main Street location. This large gallery has an industrial feel with exposed brick, wood floors, exposed ducts and utilities, and a black metal ceiling. This gallery features 137 running feet of wall space and is open for solo and group exhibitions and is wonderful for installation work.

Applications to exhibit in the Invitational Galleries are reviewed each August for the following year. Artists are asked to submit a package including: 10 hi-resolution images, a show proposal, and artist statement, and a resume to be considered. Applications may be found HERE.
